The bill (Reg. No. 2024) suggests amending article 4 of the Law “On Lease of Sate and Municipal Property” in order to abolish prohibition on the lease of waterworks of fishery process reservoirs. The subject of legislative initiative believes that this should provide fruitful conditions for the development of fishery complex and increase of leasing revenues to the state and local budgets.
Parliament members believe that adoption of the bill will allow for leasing water bodies on rental basis as an integral complex (a land plot with a water body and waterworks).
Generally upholding the concept of the bill, members of the Committee expressed several remarks and suggestion to it.
The respective decision was referred to the Committee on Economic Policy.
