The bill (Reg. No. 1131) is aimed at regulation of the conditions of service by sentenced to confinement and deprivation of liberty for a certain period.
The reason to make such changes is the fact that the Article 82 of the Criminal Code, which defines the order of replacement of unserved part of the sentence with more lenient, does not foresee the possibility of replacing punishment in the form of remedial works with fine.
Analyzing the bill, members of the Committee deem the implementation of its provisions will contribute to the protection of rights and legitimate interests of the sentenced to punishment and will humanize their conditions of detention.
