On Thursday, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak is on a working visit in Zhaporizhzhya region.
Volodymyr Rybak visited the Motor Sich Public Joint Stock Company (JSC), where he shall see over modernized helicopters set up with the JSC equipment and familiarized himself with the work of the Public Joint-Stock Company Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy Plant.
Speaking with the personnel of the plant, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that a larger amount of money should be appropriated from the ecological fund to such industrial regions as Zaporizhzhya. Thereat, he stressed that it would be possible under the condition of normal functioning of the economy and its growth, for “this is a foundation for citizens’ welfare”.
Volodymyr Rybak expressed conviction that industrial retirement workers should have decent pension benefits. Thereby, he noted that this issue is one of the top priorities for the government.
Familiarizing the Chairman of the Parliament with the work of the enterprise, the Chairman of the Management Board JSC Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy Plant Pavlo Kravchenko emphasized that 90 per cent of the plant’s manufacturing partners are home producers. According to him, perseverance and creation of new work places, as well as environmental problems and energy saving are the main tasks of the enterprise.
P.Kravchenko informed that Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy Plant is one of the biggest manufacturers of ferroalloy in Europe and among the CIS countries. Productive capacity of the plant allows manufacturing almost 450 thousand tons of different ferroalloys annually.
