The provisions of the Agreement signed on July 23, 2012 in Brussels extends the categories of Ukrainian citizens entitled to simplified procedure of free multi visas: participants of official exchange programs; members of technical support, religious communities, professional unions; participants of official EU programs of transborder cooperation etc.
The Agreement determines also clear timeframes for multi visas, determines the possibility of urgent visa issue, as well as cancels visa regimes for Ukrainian residents possessing biometric passports.
Members of the Committee stressed that ratification of the Agreement would provide for further development of relations between Ukraine and the EU and intensification of contacts in socio-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.
