The Chairperson of the Committee Oleksandra Kuzhel focused on the draft laws that under preparation for the second reading. In particular, the bills:
to amend the Law “On Principles of State Monitoring (Control) of Economic Activity” (re reduction of interference into the activity of economic entities) (Reg. No. 0937);
to amend the Law “On State Registration of Legal Entities and Private Individuals - Entrepreneurs” re abolishing fees for providing information form the Unified State Registry (Reg. No. 0933);
to amend article 34 of the Law “On the Principles of the State Regulatory Policy in Economic Activity” (re proposals of the specially authorized body) (Reg. No. 0934);
to amend several laws of Ukraine regarding food security (Reg. No. 0879);
to amend the Law "On licensing particular types of economic operations" (new version) (Reg. No. 0932).
to amend several laws of Ukraine regarding national commissions to regulate natural monopolies (Reg. No. 0882);
to amend several laws of Ukraine (re improvement of legislation on protection of economic competition) (Reg. No. 0880);
to amend the Law “On the Principles of the State Regulatory Policy in Economic Activity” (re inspection of economic entities) (Reg. No. 0935).
The Committee plans to hold several visiting sessions.
In order to control implementation of laws as well as regulations of the Verkhovna Rada and their own decisions, the Committee has also planned to consider the course of implementation of the law "On Principles of State Monitoring (Control) of Economic Activity". The working plan stipulates analyzing the practice of implementation of legislative acts by the State Service for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship Development; the State Inspection of Ukraine for Consumer Rights Protection; the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine; the National Commission for the state regulation of Communications and Informatization; the National Commission for the state regulation of the energy sector; the National Commission for the state regulation of public utilities services. It is also planned to hold parliamentary hearings "State regulation of natural monopolies - providing a balanced price and tariff policy".
