The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak will pay working visit to Donetsk region on Friday, January 25.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada will visit the closed joint-stock company Donetskstal Metallurgical Plant. He will acquaint himself with the work of the plant and communicate with the staff.
Volodymyr Rybak will meet with the Academic Council of the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and activists of student self-government in Makiyivka.
The Chairman of the Parliament will visit also the rest home “Veteran” and meet with the representatives of local self-government as well as local bodies of executive power and give press conference for mass media.
As it was informed previously, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed the necessity for developing a perspective plan of legislative work in order to establish required legislative basis to implement reforms declared by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and to fulfill obligations of our State before the Council of Europe.
Volodymyr Rybak has repeatedly emphasized that the Verkhovna Rada should do everything possible to improve life of Ukrainian citizens, adopt legislative acts aiming at establishing new work places, and stimulate production and salary increase.
Thus, the main aim of the first working visit of the Chairman of the Parliament is to discuss top priority problems of the region with representatives of local authorities and citizens and search for solutions.
