Receptions were held according to the schedule of personal reception of the citizens by the chairmen of the parliamentary committees and deputy factions ratified by the decree of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for each session, the Reception office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat reports.

During the session, 32 personal receptions were held, involving 234 visitors, who submitted 256 appeals, 213 of which were written and 43 - oral.

During September-December 2012, chairmen of the parliamentary committees and deputy factions (groups) were addressed by 159 pensioners, 22 unemployed, 51 person with disabilities of І-ІІІ categories, 38 children of war, 26 disabled war veterans, 22 veterans of labour, 20 veterans of War, 18 children of war, and 6 families with many children.

The applicants were primarily concerned with the law order, and realization of civil rights and freedoms (63 appeals or 24,5% of the total number). The citizens continued complaining about actions of the judicial power, violation of the procedural laws, incompetent decisions and judgments, bribery, and wiggery. Rather common were appeals regarding corruption on the part of law enforcement bodies, formal executing of their official duties, wiggery, etc.

52 issues concerning social security were submitted, which makes 20,2% of the total number of issues.

The visitors were concerned about housing policy. 26 questions were raised in this sphere during September-December 2012.

Certain number of issues concerned health care (18 appeals or 7% of the total number).

The issues of agrarian policy and land relations remain topical (18 appeals or 7% of the total number). These issues include violation of title to land, privatization of land plots, acquisition of land under the commercial contracts, free-of-charge transfer, inheritance, and allocation of land shares.

During September-December showed interest in financial, tax and customs policy (12 appeals or 4,7% of the total number).

Many appeals and complaints concern labour and wages, particularly violation of applicable laws by dismissal and continuation of employment, labour remuneration, and activity of employment service (11 appeals or 4,3% of the total number).

All written appeals of the citizens received during the personal receptions were scrutinized and processed at the secretariats of the parliamentary committees and deputy factions. The respective orders were relegated to the authorized central executive or local self-government bodies.
