During the meeting, people’s deputies took the decision to establish the following subcommittees: on TV and radio broadcasting (headed by Mykola Kniazhytskyi); on printedmedia and Internet (headed by Rustam Raupov); and on advertising (headed by Olena Kondratiuk).
Members of the Committee discussed also the problem of candidates to the vacant post of a member of the National Council of Ukraine on TV and Radio Broadcasting.People’s deputies resolved to discuss the candidates at the meeting on February 6, 2013.
Members of the Committee decided also to initiate parliamentary hearings on introduction of digital broadcasting in Ukraine in March 2013.
