The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak shall insist on personal voting of each people’s deputy.
V.Rybak said this, answering Rada TV Channel questions on Wednesday.
According to him, such a stand might not be fancied by everyone, but all parliamentarians should adhere to the legislation. The Chairman of the Parliament noted that a deputy should submit legislative initiatives and work in the committees, fulfilling his election program and he should “vote for himself”.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stressed that in case a deputy disagrees with this or that decision, he should express his stand by voting “against”, but he shall not prevent the Parliament from working under normal conditions. V.Rybak noted that the Verkhovna Rada is not a place to fight, but to discuss.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was interviewed by parliamentary media Rada TV Channel, newspaper “Holos Ukrainy” and magazine “Viche” on Wednesday.
