The Committee recognized the bill on state regulation of production and sale of sugar (re production and supply of sugar to the domestic market) (Reg. No. 11307) as non-contradictory to the legislation of the European Union and Ukraine’s obligations within the WTO.
By the subject of legal regulation the bill belongs to the sphere of competition law, legal relations in which are governed by the Regulation 1234/2007 of the Council establishing a common organisation of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products; the Schedule CLXII - Ukraine. Part І – Tariff within the ultimate facilitation mode. Chapter І – Agricultural products. Chapter 1-А Tariffs, Part II of the Protocol on the Accession of Ukraine to the WTO.
The Committee recognized also the bill to amend several legislative acts of Ukraine re extension of production sharing agreements to other types of activity (Reg. No. 11319) as non-contradictory to the legislation of the European Union.
By the subject of legal regulation the law belongs to the environmental sphere, legal relations in which are governed by the Directive 2004/35/EC of the European Parliament and Council on environmental liability with regard to the prevention and remedying of environmental damage; the Directive 85/337/EC of the Council on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment; the Directive 96/61/EC concerning integrated pollution prevention and control.
