The bill settles the issue of turnover and labeling of genetically modified food products (GMO).
According to the document:
the turnover of food products including GMO or foods derived from GMOs, before sate registration of such GMOs, is prohibited;
the producers are obliged to label GMO foods only if such food products include registered GMOs or their ingredients in the amount exceeding 0,9%.
The respective bill was registered under No.11299.
