The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn suggests that the last meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the present convocation be held on December 4 this year.

 

Answering the journalistsquestions after the Conciliatory Council on Monday, V. Lytvyn informed that he submitted a proposal regarding the work of the Parliament this Tuesday in plenary mode and consideration of priority questions: governmental bills; laws vetoed by the President of Ukraine; ratification of agreements; and appointment and dismissal of judges.

 

The Head of the Parliament believes that if the Government submits for consideration of the Parliament the draft State Budget, additional plenary meetings could be held by decision of two factions or five committees.

 

He specified that the Cabinet of Ministers needsat least a weekto finish the elaboration and harmonization of all macroeconomic indicators of the main financial document of the country. “The work on the budget continues, and we will see what happens next,” said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

 

Answering the questions, V. Lytvyn noted thathe would like to finish his cadence as a Chairman by adopting the State Budget, so that the Verkhovna Rada performs all its obligations.”
