To the Workers of the Agriculture
I send my sincere greetings to all those who day-to-day tirelessly gain our daily bread, on whose selfless work Ukraine has always stood and will ever stand. Today’s occupational holiday is the day of special respect and gratefulness to the workers of the agriculture, people that will remain the basis of the nation, irrespective of all the difficulties and challenges. You are the embodiment and guardians of morality, firm and reliable vitality of our state.
The glorious generations of agriculture workers have always been a significant factor of economic progress and spiritual revival, stability and civil peace in the society during the most difficult and critical periods of national history. Today, this seminal mission will be the more successful, the faster and more fully the losses inflicted on the productive potential of the agriculture sector, social infrastructure of the village, as well as interests of its people are recovered. The things that are already done or planned to be done in this sector should be adjusted to the past experience, modern reality and tomorrow’s tasks and challenges with all responsibility, comprehensively and thoroughly. First of all, in the context of land reform that has to do not only with deep economic and social problems but also with the way and sense of our existence.
May you have enough strength and belief in the future on your noble and permanent guard for the plentiful supply of food on the national table.
