The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the bill “To amend article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On State Procurement” (re procurement of works connected with operation of the National Bank of Ukraine)

The bill proposes to not apply the Law “On State Procurement” to procurement of works connected with design and production of security paper, banknotes, coins and state awards of Ukraine, as well as their storage, transportation and inventory, and operations of the National Bank to administer gold and currency reserves, their placement, purchase and sale on a secondary securities market, and currency transactions.

The respective bill was registered under No. 11386.
