The bill (Reg. No. 11386) proposes to not apply the Law “On State Procurement” to procurement of works connected with design and production of security paper, banknotes, coins and state awards of Ukraine, as well as their storage, transportation and inventory, and operations of the National Bank to administer gold and currency reserves, their placement, purchase and sale on a secondary securities market, and currency transactions.
The Committee noted that implementation of bill provisions would facilitate ensuring security of the objects of the National Bank of Ukraine, which would enhance security of state secrets and property.
