The bill suggests amending several legislative acts of Ukraine. Particularly, the Civil and Family Codes, as well as the Code of Civil Procedure and the Laws "On Childhood Protection", "On Ensuring Organizational and Legal Conditions for Social Protection of Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care", "On Bodies and Services dealing with Children and Special Institutions for Children", "On Local Self Government", "On the Basis of Social Protection of Homeless and Abandoned Children" and "On Ratification of the European Convention on the Adoption of Children (revised)".
In the course of preparation of the bill to the second reading, the Committee received 47 amendments, 30 of which were taken into consideration, 4 were partially taken into consideration and 13 were rejected.
