The primary aim of the bill (Reg. No. 11110) is to strengthen responsibility of officials and other persons for facilitating voluntary acquisition of water fund lands of Ukraine. The bill determines criminal responsibility for illegal acquisition of water fund lands of any size.
The Committee supports the necessity to strengthen criminal responsibility for illegal acquisition of water fund lands and objects. Nevertheless, its members deem it necessary to define the objects of law enforcement clearly following the classification of water fund lands and water objects to avoid multiple interpretations.
