The Committee on Finance and Banking, Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the bill to amend the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding specification of certain provisions

The bill (Reg. No. 11186) aims at stimulating development of peat and lignite branches of Ukraine through establishing maximum amount of land tax and lease payment for land plots given to peat and lignite enterprises to operate business.

Particularly, the bill stipulates amending articles 276 and 288 of the Tax Code of Ukraine.

The implementation of the provisions of the bill will allow direct free surplus for development of peat and lignite sectors of Ukraine, increase the amount of industrial extraction of peat and lignite, etc.
