During the meeting of the Committee it was noted that the bill (Reg.No.0277) will allow Ukraine obtain full membership in this body and the right to vote. Ukraine possesses the status of an observer in the European Pharmacopoeia Commission. Committee members believe that annexing Ukraine to the abovementioned Convention will enable state regulatory bodies participate in the development of European quality standards in medicine and influence European policy in the sphere of medicine regulation.
It was stressed that adoption of the bill will promote further European integration of Ukraine in the sphere of development of pharmacopoeia standards of quality for medicines, etc.
