The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation recommends that the Parliament should adopt in the second reading and in entirety the bill the Natural Resources Code of Ukraine (re special permits for natural resources use)

The bill (Reg. No. 9539) amends articles 16 and 20 of the Natural Resources Code of Ukraine to regulate the procedure of issuing special permits for using natural resources to guarantee the rights of investors regarding their further participation in industrial development of the explored fields.

The Committee members believe that implementation of the provisions of the bill will increase the interest of private business to invest in mining.

The respective bill was registered under No.9539.
