The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the bill to amend the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure to secure international legal obligations of Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No. 10628), submitted by people?s deputy V. Shvets, amends articles 364, 365, 365-1, 424 of the Criminal Code and article 112 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to bring descriptions of respective corpus delicti into conformance with international legal obligations of Ukraine.

Members of the Committee supported the bill, the adoption of which would facilitate performance of international legal obligations of Ukraine, as well as approximation of the national legal system to the standards of a law-governed state and principles of rule of law.
