The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Location, Designing and Construction of Power Generating Units No. 3 and 4 at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant"

The law determines that power generating units No. 3 and 4 of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant shall be located on industrial site of a separate division "Kmelnyskyi NPP" of the state enterprise "National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "Enerhoatom" situated on the lands of the energy system that adjoin the lands of Netishyn town; these shall be two energy generating units of the same type with electric capacity of 1000MW.

The respective bill was registered under No. 11088.
