The bill (Reg. No. 10587) amends the laws "On sanitary and epidemiological welfare of population" and "On security and quality of food products" by proposing that means of transport that are used by natural persons and legal entities for transportation of food products should be subject to mandatory disinfection.

 

Supporting the legislative initiative in regard to tightening security of transporting food products, the Committee believes that mandatory disinfection shall be held only in the cases when sanitary and hygienic state of means of transport cannot ensure conditions for preservation of quality and safety of food products and at request of the state sanitary and epidemiological service of Ukraine.
