The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the bill to amend the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine (re increasing responsibility for offense against the honor and dignity of a person)

The bill supplements the Criminal Code of Ukraine with articles 145? and 145?, determining criminal responsibility for such acts as libel and insult.

The respective bill was registered under No. 11013.
