The bill (Reg. No. 10625) aims at increasing the efficiency of realization of the state policy on protection of childhood, improvement of regulatory provision of child social protection, improvement of work of central and local executive bodies and local self-government related to social work with children that need attention on the part of the state.
The bill suggests amending several legislative acts of Ukraine. Particularly, the Civil and Family Codes, as well as the Code of Civil Procedure and the Laws "On Childhood Protection", "On Ensuring Organizational and Legal Conditions for Social Protection of Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care", "On Bodies and Services dealing with Children and Special Institutions for Children", "On Local Self Government", "On the Basis of Social Protection of Homeless and Abandoned Children" and "On Ratification of the European Convention on the Adoption of Children (revised)".
