The Committee on Transport and Communications recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the bill to amend the Law "On Postal Services" regarding state supervision in postal service

The bill (Reg. No. 10665), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, suggests specifying the functions of central executive bodies in the sphere of postal services and regulate the issue of activities in this sphere by coordinating provisions of the laws "On Postal Services" and "On Telecommunications" in connection with adoption of the Law "To amend several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding national commissions regulating natural monopolies, and the spheres of communication and informatization, and securities markets and financial services" (No. 3610-VI of July 7, 2011).

Members of the Committee supported the bill, the adoption of which would prevent collisions in legal regulation of postal service provision.
