The Committee on Economic Policy suggests that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the bill "To amend several laws of Ukraine regarding national commissions to regulate natural monopolies"

The bill (Reg.No.10650) suggests amending the Laws "On Natural Monopolies", "On state forecasting and elaboration of programs of economic and social development of Ukraine" and "On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine" to improve interaction between the Cabinet of Ministers and national commissions that regulate natural monopolies within their competence.

At present, the interaction between the Cabinet of Ministers and national monopolies remains unregulated. Implementation of the provisions of the bill will allow for determining the mechanisms of such interaction.
