The law sets forth a new version of part five of article 75 of the Rules of Procedure, which stipulates that the decision to elect the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada shall be taken by open roll vote by the majority of the constitutional composition of the Verkhovna Rada. Part six of this article is excluded.
The law amends also article 77 of the Rules of Procedure. Part four of this article is presented in a new version that stipulates that the decision of the Verkhovna Rada to recall the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine shall be taken by open roll vote by the majority of the constitutional composition of the Verkhovna Rada and shall be filed in the form of a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In addition, part four of article 79 of the Rules of Procedure is supplemented with several words to ensure the possibility of simultaneous election of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
Referential norm of part five of article 79 of the Rules of Procedure is supplemented with new part four of article 77 of the Rules of Procedure.
