The Protocol signed on December 15, 2011 in Kyiv amends current Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the sphere of technical protection of information, signed on April 2, 2004 and ratified by the Law of Ukraine of September 7, 2005 under Reg. No. 2827-IV.
People?s deputies noted that conclusion of the Protocol is caused by the change of the name of the authorized body of Ukraine responsible for implementation of the Agreement. According to the Protocol, this body will be the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine instead of Security Service of Ukraine.
The Committee members upheld the bill the adoption of which will allow for settling the issue regarding fulfillment of obligations according to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the sphere of technical protection of information.
