The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the bill "On implementation of social initiatives of the President of Ukraine regarding cheapening of mortgage loans"

The bill (Reg. No. 10557) determines that the State Budget of Ukraine for 2013 and subsequent years should stipulate expenditures for compensation of interests paid to the banks and/or other financial institutions under credits received by the citizens for construction (reconstruction) or purchase of a dwelling.

The bill amends also a number of legislative acts of Ukraine: the Land Code of Ukraine and the Law "On Mortgage". And article 81 of the Law "On Land Lease" should be set forth in a new version.
