The bill (Reg.No.10458) suggests specifying the functions and powers of the executive authority in the respective spheres of social life, obligations and responsibilities of the officials of these bodies as well as the business entities.
The committee
members expressed several remarks to the bill.
It was
stressed that as far as the main body in the national system of fighting
terrorism (article 4 of the Law "On Fight against Terrorism") is the Security
Service of Ukraine (SSU) the abovementioned Law should be amended in line with
SSU according to the demands of clause 7 article 91 of the Rules of Procedure
of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Committee members focused on conclusions of the Central Scientific Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat which state that the bill needs to be revised.
