To the Ukrainian Lawyers
I send my sincere greetings to those whose vocation is service to the law, consolidation and strengthening of democratic principles and values, and protection of human and civil rights and liberties.
Celebration of the Lawyer´s Day reminds about social importance and honour of this mission, as well as permanent responsibility for quality and its realization. Consequences of tectonic social-political faults are still palpable, so accomplishment of Ukraine as a democratic, social, and legal state is among the key priorities and strategic goals.
Domestic and foreign experience, best traditions of state-building, rule of law, and humanization of social life should be enriched by the efforts and achievements of modern law theory and practice, while professional level of lawyers and their sensitivity to the topical issues should be combined with honesty and self-discipline.
I wish you to meet the demands of time, and justify the confidence of people!
