Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada V. Lytvyn: Draft State Budget for the Next Year increases Financial Support of Education
Draft State Budget for the next year increases financial support of education, allocating UAH 93 billion for its needs. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada V. Lytvyn informed about this during the festivities dedicated to the Teacher´s Day at Baranivka gymnasium in Zhytomyr region on Friday.
V.Lytvyn was glad to attend the holiday and greet those who "help consolidate Ukraine as a state." The Head of the Parliament stated that school is utterly important. He stressed that the work of educationalists is noble, and thanked the teachers for their self-sacrifice. "It is no secret that teachers are often more concerned about children´s upbringing than parents who tackle everyday problems," the Head of the Parliament stated.
V.Lytvyn wished the pupils "to value and honour their parents, and know the history of their family." The Head of the Parliament stated that pupils should remember that fundamental knowledge will help them survive in life, and achieve self-realization for the sake of themselves and the country. "It is a complicated and responsible task: to move forward under any circumstances, find yourself, and stay among the best," the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stressed.
V.Lytvyn presented equipment for the computer class for 25 workplaces to Baranivka gymnasium. The best teachers received valuable gifts from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
The Head of the Parliament also introduced a newly-appointed head of the district state administration V.Fedorchuk to the media.
