20 Years Proves an Objective
Fact: Ukraine has made Itself as a State, though the
State should be filled with Real Qualitative Content.
It was declared by Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday, during visiting of VII Kyiv International Book Exhibition Fair.
Asked by the journalists regarding opinion pools, under which the majority of people are disappointed since their expectations regarding perspectives of our state had failed, V. Lytvyn declared that such moods are logical.
He explained that during the first years of independence, "people had great overestimated expectations though the faced disappointment thus became indifferent to some extend." He stated that such citizens´ state of mind was formed to some extend with the help of authorities actions, since "they often were imperfect and non-effective due to the constant fighting between the different powers." "Moreover, now we need to reformatted and make your society modern, though it meets certain counteraction", he explained.
V. Lytvyn emphasized importance of consideration of other results of sociological studies that would "inspire us."
