"I am convinced that under your leadership, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will continue to contribute to the development of strategic partnership between Ukraine and Russia," the telegram of congratulations reads.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine assures the Head of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the permanent desire of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to strengthen Ukrainian-Russian inter-parliamentary cooperation.
