The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Food Security of Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No.8370-1) defines legal, economic and organizational principles of the state activity to protect the national interests, guarantees food security in Ukraine to protect society and state from the external and internal threats, and introduces state responsibility for the appropriate level of food supply.
