The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the All-Ukrainian Program "Drinking Water of Ukraine" for 2006-2020"

The bill presents a new version of the All-Ukrainian Program "Drinking Water of Ukraine" for 2011-2020 to revise and improve the normative-legal base in the sphere of drinking water supply and sewage in view of development of new technologies and equipment, and enactment of new normative-legal acts.

The Program is funded at the expense of the state budget (UAH 3004,3 million), local budgets and drinking water supply enterprises (UAH 6467,4 million or 68,3%). Total financial support approximates UAH 9471,7 million.
