The Committee on National Security and Defense recommends the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Military Duty and Military Service"

The bill (Reg. No8362), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers, introduces a new type of military service call-up liability in the special period.

The Committee members believe that provisions of the bills connected with the introduction of a new type of military service - call-up liability in the special period should be harmonized with the Laws "On Defense in Ukraine" and "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization." The People's Deputies deem necessary to specify the legal regime of a new military service type.
