The Law abolishes licensing of several types of activity in the telecommunications sector (fixed landline communication, fixed wireless communication, mobile communication, technical maintenance of telecom networks, networks of on-air television and radio broadcasting, line radio and television, lease of local telecommunication channels). Instead, it offers the mechanism of registration of respective entities, extending public access to the universal telecom services.
