The Loan Agreement (Enhancement of the Service Quality of Roads on Approach to Kyiv (Pan-European Transport Corridors) between Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was signed on November 26, 2010 in Kyiv. Under the Loan Agreement, Ukraine is granted a loan in the total of EUR 450 million.
The Loan Agreement sets the general terms of loan (15 years with a four-year credit grace period, loan value of EUR 450 million) and responsibilities of the parties, and also refers to other documents, implementation of which is compulsory during the execution of the project.
The primary goal of the project is to bring the service quality of roads on approach to Kyiv in line with the European standards within the scope of preparation for the organization of the final part of the European Football Championship 2012.
