The Committee on Justice recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine (re Authorities of the Scientific and Consultative Council at the Supreme Court of Ukraine)

The bill (Reg. No8032) is aimed at
the improvements of provisions of the Code on Administrative Justice of
Ukraine, Code of Economic procedure of Ukraine, Civil Code of Ukraine and Code
of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine and also Laws "On Judicial System and Status
of Judge" in the part of preparation of case for the scrutiny in the Supreme
Court and increase of a number of authorities of members of the Scientific and Consultative Council concerning
functions of scientific support by the
Supreme Court of Ukraine.
The
Committee members are convinced the adoption of the bill on implementation of
the relevant amendments shall enable more efficient preparation of the legal
suits for their scrutiny in the Supreme Court and would facilitate effective
involvement of the Scientific and Consultative Council at the Supreme Court of
Ukraine members into the preparation for the scrutiny issues o activity of the
Supreme Court of Ukraine.
