The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to several Legislative Acts"(re Specification of Regulations on providing the Adopters with a Leave for Adaptation of the Adopted Child)

The Law allows adopting a child after it became two months of age. This provision applies not only to the child left in the maternity home or other health care establishment, but also to the child taken to other public child-care establishment.

The draft is registered under Reg. No. 7004.
