The Committee on Economic Policy recommends the Parliament to recommit the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Consumer Protection" (re Specification of Terms and Provisions of the Law on Consumer Rights)

The bill (Reg. No. 2714) amends the Law "On Consumer Protection" to harmonize it with the Laws "On Safety and Quality of Foodstuffs", "On Veterinary Medicine", "On Phytosanitary Control", "On Standards, Technical Regulations, and Conformity Assessment Procedures", and WTO Agreements "On Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures" and "On Technical Barriers to Trade."

The Committee members discussed the conclusions of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate concerning the bill.
