The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Non-Governmental Organizations

The bill (Reg. No. 7262-1) lays legal and organizational principles of realization of the individual right for the freedom on association guaranteed by the Constitution and the international agreements of Ukraine.

The document abolishes responsibility for the activity of non-registered organizations (clause 186-5 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements) and cancels scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the non-governmental organizations as to legitimacy of their internal operation.
