The Committee on Finance, Banking, Taxation and Customs Policy recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Clause 19 of the Law "On Common Customs Tariff" (re Exemption of Goods for Construction and Equipment of Airports-Objects of the Championship from Duty)

The bill (Reg. No.8062) exempts from import duty the goods to be used for construction and equipment (purchase of equipment) of airports-objects of the European Football Championship 2012 by September 1, 2012. It concerns equipment for the airfield, terminal complexes, and ground servicing of aircrafts and passengers.

The Committee members stated that exemption of such procurements from import duty will remove the burden from the State Budget of Ukraine and allow reasonable use of the budget funds for public needs.
