The Law implements the provisions of Council of Europe Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime and on the Financing of Terrorism and several provisions of the Law "On Prevention of Legalization (Laundering) of Illegally Obtained Income."
The Law presents a new version of clause 163-8 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements "Tampering within a Stock Market"; supplements the Criminal Code of Ukraine with a new clause 222-1 "Tampering within a Stock Market"; amends the Law "On State Regulation of the Securities Market" and specifies the authorities of the Securities and Stock Market State Commission of Ukraine in this sphere.
