The Law amends the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, the Code of Criminal Proceedings of Ukraine and the Law "On Information." Namely, it specifies the term ‘personal data´ in clause 23 of the Law "On Information"; sets administrative responsibility for infringements in the sphere of personal data protection in clauses 188-37 and 188-38 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements; authorizes the state body on personal data protection to consider the cases on infringements (clauses 244-19 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements); presents a new version of clause 182-1 of the Criminal Code.
