The Parties discussed a wide array of issues on Ukrainian-Austrian cooperation. The Chairman of the Committee emphasised the dynamic character of the relations between Austria and Ukraine. He congratulated the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary on his appointment to the office.
Oleh Bilorus also informed about the deputy group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Inter-Parliamentary Liaison with the Austrian Republic which includes the representative of different political parties.
Wolf Dietrich Heim stated that inter-parliamentary relations are essential for his state. He emphasised that bilateral relations between Ukraine and Austria are characterized by great potential and perspectives of further development. He hopes for the fruitful inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The Parties also focused on the strengthening of cooperation on the economic level, issues of European integration of Ukraine, and development of cooperation with the European Union.
