The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine of Administrative Infringements" (re Strengthening of Responsibility for Forest Pollution)

The legislative act amends clauses 72 and 73 of the Code of Ukraine of Administrative Infringements that increase penalties for forest destruction and pollution. Thus, the penalty for the citizens totals ten-thirty non-taxable incomes, the penalty for the officials thirty-fifty non-taxable incomes.

The draft is registered under Reg. No. 6141.
