The bill (Reg. No. 7303) determines
the grounds, terms, procedure and amount of state-funded compensation to the
individuals who suffered from criminal infringement upon their life, health or
property. The bill also determined the bodies in charge of this issue, and compensation
sources.
The bill envisages setting up a special compensation fund in Ukraine to guarantee timely execution of judicial decrees on state-funded compensation to the individuals who suffered from crime.
The Committee members uphold the bill, as its adoption will protect the legitimate interests of thousands of Ukrainian people who suffered from criminal infringement upon their constitutional rights.
